By accessing or using ResumeAgent ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ResumeAgent is an AI-powered resume optimization tool. You provide your resume and a target job description, and our service generates a tailored version with improved keyword alignment, bullet rewrites, and match scoring. The Service also includes AI readability scanning to preview how automated screening systems evaluate your resume.

3. Accounts

  • You must create an account to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Free and Paid Plans

  • Free plan: Includes 5 free uses (AI scans and resume tailorings).
  • Paid plans: Starter ($4.99/mo, 15 tailorings), Job Hunt ($14.99/mo, unlimited), Pro ($29.99/mo, unlimited with LinkedIn optimization).
  • Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.
  • Refunds are available within 7 days of first charge if the service has not been extensively used. Contact us for consideration.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI service.
  • Create multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits.
  • Upload content that is harmful, fraudulent, or infringes on third-party rights.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your resume content. The tailored output generated by ResumeAgent is yours to use without restriction. ResumeAgent retains ownership of the Service, its design, code, and AI models.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to produce high-quality resume suggestions, we do not guarantee that using ResumeAgent will result in job interviews or employment. AI-generated suggestions should be reviewed by you before submission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeAgent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
